Ingredients: 100% Organic Barley Grain (Stoneground)

Originating in the East, this was a main staple crop and the most important bread grain. It is also used for a Barley drink, or soup for a comforting food in the middle East.

Although in Europe it is now mostly used for beer production!! However, the health conscious have now started to use it in baking. It can make delicious savoury and sweet dishes. (Especially our favourite healthy Chocolate Barley Cake.)
