Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamps/ oil burners/ candle holders are said to create negatively charged ions in the air. As modern day pollution and electrical equipment creates positive ions in the air which are potentially harmful to us and cause air quality in areas to deteriorate. By using a Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp you replace the negatively charged ions in the air which helps us to avoid the alleged physical and mental harm that the ‘electric smog’ creates.

Each one is unique in shape, size, weight & colours.  There may be some sand debris residue from salt from transit, just wipe clean with damp cloth and allow to dry.

Himalayan Salt lamps have hygroscopic properties which then absorb moisture from the air therefore Do not place in a damp warm room, as it will allow it to perspire and melt, as this is the real Himalayan salt from the Himalayas mountains & is not coated, so please take care of it & it will last you a lifetime.

We recommend, in humid conditions to possibly place your lamp onto a small dish or tray in case it may pool water.

If your lamp is ‘sweating’ or leaking water this is generally due to being switched off for extended periods, especially in humid conditions. To remedy, leave in strong sunlight for 4 to 5 hours and brush off any excess crystals. Or wipe gently with a dry cloth.

If you don’t use the Himalayan salt lamp for long periods of time (eg when on holidays), disconnect the cable and remove it from the lamp.
